With over 11 years of competitive experience, Coach Ryan brings a wealth of experience to his coaching approach. Specialising in stroke correction and water safety for both adults and children, he is committed to bringing out the best in his students.

Coach Ryan is driven by the belief in meaningful progress during each lesson, ensuring that swimmers not only refine their techniques but also develop a deep appreciation for the water. His engaging teaching style further enhances the learning experience, making each session both educational and enjoyable for his students.

Born and raised in Selangor, Malaysia, Coach Ching Hwang quickly rose to prominence as a swimming prodigy, breaking records and earning accolades. Securing a scholarship to the Singapore Sports School under Olympian coach Barry Prime, he excelled, making the South-East Asian Games team at just 15 and clinching a silver medal in the 4x200m Freestyle Relay.

Ching Hwang's ambition led him to compete in various major games like the Asian Games and Commonwealth Games. His standout achievement came at the Asian Youth Games in 2013, where he set a record-breaking time of 1:50.82 seconds in the 200m Freestyle individual event, a record that still holds to this day.

Having represented Singapore on the national stage from 2013 to 2019, Coach Malcolm has garnered invaluable experience and honed his skills to the highest standards. His dedication and commitment to the sport were evident as he reached the finals of the Sea Games in 2015, showcasing his talent and competitive spirit on a regional level.

Additionally, he had the privilege of competing in the Swimming Queensland State Championships in Australia from 2014 to 2016, making a mark on the international swimming scene.
